Rock against Racism

I created this graphic for a series of music events aimed at uniting communities through music. Organised by Le Chéile, an alliance working to promote diversity in Irish society and counter the rise of facism and far-right politics. As there needed to be a lot of text, I chose to keep the graphics abstract and simple. I took inspiration from the imagery of music waveforms and combined it with the colours of the Le Chéile logo. Despite the heaviness of the topic, I wanted the imagery to be playful and fun in order to grab people's attention.

Kilkenny Community Palestine Solidarity Group

In October 2023 I became an active member of the Kilkenny Community Palestine Solidarity Group. Starting out as a small group of concerned individuals calling for peace in the Middle East, the group has now grown into a large and diverse community.

I contributed to the group by designing the graphics; group banner, avatar, event flyers, pins and badges. The silhouette of Kilkenny's skyline, the colours of the Palestine and Kilkenny flags and the symbol of the kite all formed the basis for the artwork. As part of the group, I also set up and managed the email and social media accounts.
